Nov. 12 recital to feature vocal jazz styles

October 27, 2003

The Brigham Young University School of Music presents Syncopation Jazz Ensemble and the Vocal Jazz Combo Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

The performance is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Directed by Kelly Eisenhour, the program will include jazz vocal styles by a variety of artists from Lennon and McCartney to Lombardo and Coltrane.

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
