New Studio 1030 salon to hold two grand openings Aug. 23, Sept. 5

Studio 1030, a new Paul Mitchell signature salon located in the Wilkinson Student Center, opened for business Aug. 1. Studio 1030 offers services for both men and women, including cuts, coloring, styling, scalp treatments, manicures, pedicures, Shellac polish, facials, makeup, facial waxing and more.

To celebrate this new addition to campus services offered at the Wilkinson Student Center, the Studio will host two grand openings. The first is for BYU faculty and staff and is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those in attendance will be treated to food, prizes and discounts on services.

The second grand opening will be an open house for students and will take place Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can spin the prize wheel, get a tour of the salon, sign up for a free mini scalp treatment and enjoy free food all day.  Live music will be played from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. by three different bands: The Raven Watch, Steven Stucki and Red Yeti.

Studio 1030 is located on the first floor of the Wilkinson Student Center (1030 WSC). The salon occupies the space where Campus Floral was formerly located. Campus Floral has relocated to the Student Auxiliary Services Building (685 E. University Parkway).
