New associate deans, chairs in Religious Education at BYU

Terry B. Ball, recently appointed dean of Religious Education at Brigham Young University, has announced several administrative changes.

Associate deans for the college now include Richard D. Draper, professor of ancient scripture, and Dennis A. Wright, professor of Church history and doctrine.

Arnold K. Garr is the new chair of the Department Church History and Doctrine, with John P. Livingstone as associate chair; and Dennis L. Largey will now chair the Department of Ancient Scripture, with David M. Whitchurch as associate chair.

Former dean Andrew C. Skinner, former associate dean Matthew O. Richardson and former chair of the Department of Church History and Doctrine Paul H. Peterson received expressions of gratitude for their service during the faculty meeting when the changes were announced.
