More than 5,000 expected to attend BYU Career Fair Sept. 27

170 potential employers will be available

On Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Brigham Young University will host a Career Fair in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom and Garden Court, with more than 170 employers scheduled to attend.

Students from all majors are encouraged to attend, and are advised to come with a resume and be prepared for a personal interview.

All employers will be looking to fill full-time positions that include salaries and benefits. Some may also offer internships. Many employers will follow up with on-campus interviews Thursday and Friday.

Career Placement Services director Arnold Parrott said college hiring was “predicted to increase by 17.4 percent for the year, according to research by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.” More than 5,000 students are expected to attend.

Career Placement offers workshops on resumes, cover letters, interviewing and networking in 2410 WSC. For more information and updates on employers, visit byu.erecruiting.com.
