Brian Adam, Scottish National Parliament member, will address "Scotland: A Parliament Restored and a Democracy Found?" during the final winter semester International Forum Series Wednesday, April 7 at noon in 238 Herald R. Clark Building at Brigham Young University.
Adam is currently the parliament's Shadow Deputy Education and Lifelong Learning Minister and is Convener of the Parliament's Standards Committee. He has been a member since 1974.
Born in Newmill, Banffshire, Adam received degrees in biochemistry and clinical pharmacology from Aberdeen University.
Adam is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
