Marriott School to host annual Management Conference June 23-25

Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management will host its 10th annual BYU Management Conference, "Successful Leadership in a Changing World: Principles for Building Outstanding Leaders in Organizations, Communities and Families," Thursday through Saturday, June 23-25, on the BYU campus.

Keynote speakers will be Stephen R. Covey, co-founder and vice chairman, FranklinCovey; Mark H. Willes, former chairman, president and CEO, Times Mirror; and Bronco Mendenhall, newly named head football coach at BYU. The conference will also feature special guests Jericho Road, the popular LDS recording group.

Educational tracks available include accounting/information systems, general management, entrepreneurship, and personal development/family relations.

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
