Margaret Young, recipient of the Best Novel of the Year award for "Heresies of Nature" in 1995, will speak to students, faculty and patrons in the Harold B. Lee Library auditorium Friday, Feb. 25, at noon.
Young, who teaches writing at Brigham Young University, has also won the Publication Prize by the Utah Arts Council in 1990 for her collection of stories, "Elegies and Love Songs" and written other novels including "House without Walls" and "Salvador".
The English Reading Series is hosted by the English Department and the Harold B. Lee Library and takes place almost every Friday throughout the fall and winter semesters. Although most attendees are English major students, the lectures are open to all students and the public.
