KBYU-FM to air interview program beginning July 3

Classical 89 KBYU-FM announced the premiere of a new half-hour interview program, "Thinking Aloud," which will feature Brigham Young University community members and campus guests discussing academic and spiritual topics.

The show will air on Classical 89, found at 89.1 and 89.5 FM, at 11 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays beginning Monday, July 3. It can also be heard online at http://www.classical89.org/streaming.

"Each program in the series offers the thoughtful listener a variety of programming that broadly mines the wealth of scholarly and spiritual experience found in the BYU community," said Marcus Smith, host of the show. "This is complemented by scholarly, creative and spiritually sensitive voices from outside the campus and from academe generally."

Classical 89 serves the BYU community and its surrounding areas with wholesome and intellectually stimulating content. Besides classical music, the station presents coverage of local arts events, BYU devotionals and forums and morning and afternoon news.
