Kay Stice featured at May 27 devotional

Brigham Young University School of Accountancy and Information Systems accounting professor, E. Kay Stice will be featured at a BYU devotional Tuesday, May 27 at 11:05 a.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

The devotional will be broadcast live on KBYU-TV (Channel 11), KBYU-FM (89.1), the BYU-Television and BYU-Radio satellite networks and at broadcasting.byu.edu. It will be rebroadcast Sunday, June 8, at 6 and 11 a.m. on KBYU-TV, on BYU-Television at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., and on Sunday, June 1, on KBYU-FM at 8 p.m.

Stice received his bachelor's degree and master's of accounting degree from BYU and his doctorate from Cornell University in accounting.

Stice's expertise is in the financial, international and theory aspects of accounting. He is currently researching the use of alternative accounting methods and financial markets research.

Rare Gates of Paradise replica restored and on display at the BYU Museum of Art

The BYU Museum of Art (MOA) recently unveiled restored gypsum cast panels of Italian sculptor Lorenzo Ghiberti’s famous "Gates of Paradise." After decades in storage and years of student-powered restoration, the Gates are now ready for display. With fewer than a dozen of these replicas still intact and even fewer on display, this replica stands as an important addition to BYU.
