Holiday wishes from BYU's Music Department

The holidays at BYU wouldn't be complete without the "Celebration of Christmas" featuring the BYU Singers, Concert Choir and Men's and Women's Choruses with the Philharmonic Orchestra.

This annual event finds the de Jong Concert Hall aglow with Christmas lights and filled with the sounds of carols from around the world and across the ages.

In case you couldn't make this year's performances, here are some of the sights of the BYU campus in winter set to the music of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" featuring the Combined Choirs and Philharmonic.

The cloth masks many are sporting these days offer some protection against COVID-19. However, they typically provide much less than the professional N95 masks used by healthcare workers. That may soon change. Recently, students from BYU’s College of Engineering teamed up with Nanos Foundation to develop a nanofiber membrane that can be sandwiched between the cloth pieces in a homemade mask, increasing efficacy up to 99%.
