Harold A. Cedartree Memorial Powwow at BYU March 23-24

A pageant, authentic food and plenty of dancing will highlight this year’s Harold A. Cedartree Memorial Powwow celebration, to take place at Brigham Young University Friday and Saturday, March 23-24, in the Wilkinson Student Center.

Tickets are available at the WSC Information Desk for $3 for students with ID and $4 for the general public.

The powwow will kick off Friday at 6 p.m. with the Grand Entry in the WSC Ballroom, featuring the event’s dance teams. The traditional Miss Indian BYU Pageant will not take place this year.

Saturday’s events will run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the Ballroom and Garden Court, where attendees can peruse various cultural booths with authentic food and vendors.
