“The Errand of Angels” to air on BYU Television Nov. 28

Join BYU Television on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 27) at 6 p.m. for the broadcast premiere of “The Errand of Angels” and again on Friday, Nov. 28, at 9 p.m.

This family-friendly film traces the story of Sister Taylor (Erin Chambers) as she seeks to fulfill her dream of sharing the gospel as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Austria — a dream and goal she has had since her family’s conversion.

It wasn’t until this dream came true that she learned about the side of a mission she hadn’t taken into account: language, culture, cuisine and companions. As Sister Taylor tries to face these challenges with optimism, she finds herself gaining a better understanding of faith, repentance, forgiveness and charity.

For information about rebroadcast dates and times, visit www.byutv.org.

Director Christian Vuissa’s screenplay is based on the story by Heidi Johnson about her own missionary experiences. The supporting cast includes Rachel Emmers and the Austrian actress Bettina Schwarz and was filmed on location in Vienna.
