Elder Yoshihiko Kikuchi to address BYU devotional Jan. 18

Elder Yoshihiko Kikuchi, a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak at a Brigham Young University devotional Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

Elder Kikuchi, a native of Japan, was called to full-time Church service Oct. 1, 1977. He is presently serving as an assistant executive director in the Temple Department. He previously served in presidencies in Asia, North America and the Utah North Area, and also servedl as executive administrator in the Asia North and Granger Murray Areas.

In 1997, Elder Kikuchi returned to Tokyo, Japan, where he served for three years as the president of the Tokyo Temple. Before that he served as president of the Hawaii Honolulu Mission.

Prior to Elder Kikuchi’s call to full-time Church service, he was serving as regional manager for Rena-Ware Distributors Company for the entire Japan area.

Elder Kikuchi graduated in 1968 from Tokyo Asia University with a degree in business psychology and management. He served as a full-time missionary in the Northern Far East Mission and served a one-year building mission there as well.
