Elder Neil L. Andersen will speak at May 16 BYU devotional

Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Presidency of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will speak Tuesday, May 16, at 11 a.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall for a Brigham Young University campus devotional.

Live broadcasts will be available on KBYU-TV (Channel 11), BYU Television, KBYU-FM (89.1 and 89.5 in Utah County), BYU Radio and byubroadcasting.org, as well as on campus in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium, F-201 Harris Fine Arts Center and the Varsity Theater in the Wilkinson Student Center. Rebroadcast information is available at byubroadcasting.org.

Elder Andersen works closely with Church leadership in Mexico and Central America. He has previously served as president of the Brazil South Area, executive director of the Audiovisual Department, assistant executive director of the Priesthood Department and first counselor in the General Sunday School Presidency.

After graduating from BYU with a bachelor’s degree and from Harvard University with a Master of Business Administration, Elder Andersen settled in Tampa, Fla., where he worked in partnership and senior management positions in the advertising, real estate development and health care businesses.
