Elder D. Todd Christofferson speaks at Church Education System fireside Nov. 7

Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Presidency of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will speak at a Church Education System fireside at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7 in the Marriott Center at Brigham Young University.

Live broadcasts of the fireside will be on the BYU-Television and BYU-Radio satellite systems and byubroadcasting.org.

Rebroadcasts will be Sunday, Nov. 14 at 6 and 1l a.m. on KBYU-TV (Channel 11), 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on BYU-Television, 8 p.m. on KBYU-FM and 6 p.m. on BYU-Radio (89.1).

Elder Christofferson was called in April of 1993 to serve in the First Quorum of the Seventy and now serves as the executive director of the Family and Church History Department. Previously he served as president of the Mexico South Area and as counselor in the North America Southwest Area Presidency.

A BYU alumnus, Elder Christofferson earned his bachelor's degree as an Edwin S. Hinckley Scholar. He later earned his law degree from Duke University.
