Dennis Wright to address BYU devotional March 15

Dennis Wright, professor of church history and doctrine, will address students on "the 'silver thread' of war" at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, March 15 in the Marriott Center for a university devotional.

Since his arrival at BYU in 1995, Wright has co-authored with Robert Freeman both "Saints at War" and "Saints at War: Korea and Vietnam." They, along with Craig Manscill, are working to complete an "Encyclopedia of the Presidents of the Church."

Live broadcasts of the devotional will be available on KBYU-TV (Channel 11), BYU-Television, KBYU-FM (89.1), BYU-Radio and byubroadcasting.org, as well as on campus in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium and the Varsity Theatre in the Wilkinson Student Center.

Rebroadcasts will be Sunday, March 20 on BYU Radio at 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 27 on KBYU-TV at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m., BYU-Television at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., KBYU-FM at 8 p.m. Audio Archives are available at www.byubroadcasting.org.
