Dean of Religious Education to deliver BYU devotional address March 11

Terry B. Ball, professor of ancient scripture and dean ofReligious Education, will share how students can have "A SpirituallyStrengthening Education" during the Brigham Young University weekly devotional addressTuesday, March 11, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

Ball received his bachelor’s degree in botany and education,his master's degree in ancient Near Eastern studies and his doctorate in archaeobotanywith an emphasis on the ancient Near East from BYU. He has taught at the BYUJerusalem Center and has traveled extensively throughout the Holy Land.

He has focused most of his recent ancient scripture researchon the prophet Isaiah.
