The L. Tom Perry Special Collections of the Harold B. Lee Library at Brigham Young University will present the second annual A. Dean Larsen Book Collecting Conference Thursday and Friday, Nov. 3-4.

The conference is designed for scholars, collectors, bibliophiles and library friends. Participants will explore such subjects as the printing of early 16th-century astronomy books and the reading life of men and women in Victorian England.

In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Joseph Smith of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, seminars will focus on the printed word of Joseph Smith, the publication of the papers of Joseph Smith and personal Latter-day Saint book collections.
