Campus will be closed Christmas Day

To protect its private property ownership rights, Brigham Young University will close all campus roads and all parking areas Christmas Day (from midnight Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, through midnight Christmas Day, Dec. 25).

All faculty, staff and student employees not required to work on this day should plan activities and personal schedules to avoid any need to be on campus. All entrances to campus will be closed. Employees required to work Christmas Day should contact University Police, ext. 2-7335, for instructions regarding reporting for work.

Anyone having a need to access campus must park off campus. Only university housing residents may gain access to their residences at specific locations that will be provided. Guests should be advised to park on adjacent public streets.

For specific locations of access points by BYU Housing residents, contact the BYU Campus Housing Office at (801) 422-2611 or Steve Goodman of University Police at steve_goodman@byu.edu.
