BYUSA Unforum celebrates school year April 12

Brigham Young University’s annual Unforum, a celebration of the past year and the BYU legacy, will take place Tuesday, April 12, at 11:05 a.m. at the Marriott Center.

The Unforum is hosted by the Brigham Young University’s Student Association and is free and open to the public. It will not be broadcast.

This year’s program, themed “We Are BYU,” will demonstrate how faculty, staff and students provide the ultimate BYU experience.

Opening remarks will be given by President Cecil O. Samuelson. The show will include guest appearances and performances by the BYU Ballroom Dance Team, Vocal Point, the BYU basketball team and a variety of BYUSA clubs. There will be no master of ceremonies this year; instead video presentations will introduce the performers.

During the show, the Circle of Honor essay contest winner will be announced as well as the five winners of this year's Brigham Awards. Each of these individuals will be highlighted and recognized for receiving these awards for their commitment, example and contributions to others throughout the world and the BYU community.
