BYUSA sponsors Peter Breinholt in concert Jan. 7-8

The Brigham Young University Student Service Association sponsors popular local artist Peter Breinholt in concert Friday and Saturday, Jan. 7-8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom.

Tickets are $7 with $2 off with a student ID and are available at the Wilkinson Student Center Information Desk at (801) 422-4313. Tickets will be available at the door for $7.

The self-taught musician started writing songs when he was 11 years old. It wasn't until college that Breinholt started recording his music.

He has sold out every major concert performed in Utah including a concert at Capitol Theatre, Kingsbury Hall, Tuacahn, Sundance and Thanksgiving Point.

He has produced five albums, a concert DVD, a film score and two guitar songbooks. Breinholt has performed throughout the United States including New York, Los Angeles, Spokane, Wash. and San Antonio.

Singer and songwriter Cary Judd will open the show for Breinholt. Judd is a one-man band from Wyoming.

BYU professor Rob Sowby teaches and studies environmental engineering, urban water infrastructure and sustainability. He has particular expertise in the planning, design, construction and operation of public water systems. That expertise has been increasingly important (and regularly sought out) in the wake of apocalyptic wildfires that have taxed those public water systems.
