BYU's University Chorale plans free summer concert Aug. 10

Brigham Young University's University Chorale, conducted by Paul Broomhead, will present its summer concert on Thursday, Aug. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall of the Harris Fine Arts Center.

Admission to the performance is free.

The ensemble will begin the concert with “Let All the World in Every Corner Sing” by Sven Lekberg, and “My Soul is a River” by Ben Allaway.

The chorale will then move into “Ihr Musici, Frisch auf!” by Hassler, “Gloriosus Deus” by Johann Michael Haydn and “Es mussen sich freuen und frolich sein” by Friedrch Erhard Niedt.

The concert will close with “Ton The” by Jeanne and Robert Gilmore.

Assistant conductors for the performance will be Alan Zabriskie, Shea Bradshaw, Stephen Reynolds, Trevor Manning and Leanna Crocket.
