BYU's Charles Redd Center seeks interviews on Utah State International Women's Year Conference

August 12, 2003

The Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University is hosting a project to collect interviews from women who participated in the Utah State International Women's Year Conference June 24 and 25, 1977.

The center is looking for women who attended any of the mass meetings held prior to the conference and those who attended any of the sessions and voted at the conference.

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
