BYU Television to air Mormon Tabernacle Choir with the Osmonds July 26

BYU Television will air the Pioneer Day Commemoration Concert, featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square with special guests the Osmonds, live from the LDS Conference Center on Temple Square on Saturday July 26, at 7:30 p.m. MDT.

The special broadcast will bring this musical celebration to those who couldn’t get tickets or don’t want to fight crowds on the holiday weekend, said Daniel Hubbard of BYU Broadcasting. "They can stay at home and celebrate with BYU Television, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Osmonds," he said.

Program highlights include several Pioneer Day favorites, classic American folk hymns and songs and a variety of songs for which the Osmonds are famous. The evening also features a walk through the Osmonds’ musical legacy with musical highlights and videos of performances from throughout their careers.

Those who do not have BYU Television can watch the performance live online at www.byutv.org/streaming. For information about rebroadcast dates and times, visit www.byub.org.
