BYU School of Music presents Donizetti's comic opera 'The Elixir of Love'

A magic love potion doesn't solve as many problems as you'd think, as the peasant Nemorino discovers through his blundering pursuit of the wealthy Adina in Gaetano Donizetti's comic opera "L'elisir d'amore," or "The Elixir of Love."

Join the BYU School of Music on June 11-14, at 7:30 p.m., in the De Jong Concert Hall for a performance of this popular Italian opera exploring the light-hearted side of love.

Directed by Lawrence Vincent, "L'elisir d'amore" is the School of Music's first spring opera presening a grand opera with a full orchestral accompaniment. The opera will be performed in Italian with English subtitles.

Tickets and Schedule:
Wednesday and Thursday, June 11 and 12: $6
Friday and Saturday, June 13 and 14: $10
