BYU School of Music offers free harp solo and ensemble concert Nov. 19

Brigham Young University’s School of Music will present a harp solo and ensemble concert Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Directed by Anamae Anderson, the concert will feature selections by Johann Sebastian Bach, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Antonio Vivaldi, George Frederic Handel and Edvard Grieg.

One ensemble will perform “Yankee Doodle the Globetrotter” by Aristid von Würtzler, which introduces a musical theme and variations on the theme in styles such as the fandango of Spain, the tango of Argentina and the military march from Germany.
