BYU School of Music hosts free concert March 12-14

Several Brigham Young University School of Music performing artists will perform free concerts March 12-14.

•The Honors String Quartet will perform Thursday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center. Quartet members Ashley Kunz, violin, Cari Sue Green, violin, Noelle Rader, viola, and Natachia Li, cello, will perform works by Alexander Borodin and Edvard Grieg.

•The Honors Brass Quintet will perform Friday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center. Quintet members Todd Jacobs, trombone, Austin Benesh, trumpet, Chris London, trumpet, Emily Bier, horn, and Eric Smith, tuba will perform “Revolutions” by BYU School of Music undergraduate Eric Callison.

•BYU School of Music faculty artist Lawrence Green will appear in recital Saturday, March 14, at 2:15 p.m. in the BYU Museum of Art Auditorium. Assisted by guest artist Brady Bills, Green will perform a wide variety of classical guitar works by late-romantic and 20th century composers.
