BYU Religious Education plans Easter Conference April 11

Brigham Young University Religious Education and the Religious Studies Center will host the annual Easter Conference, “To Save the Lost: An Easter Celebration,” Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Joseph Smith Building Auditorium. Admission is free, and the public is welcome to attend.

Bonnie D. Parkin, former general president of the Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be the keynote speaker. Her remarks will focus on “My Portrait of Jesus: A Work in Progress.”

Other speakers include Kent P. Jackson, BYU associate dean of Religious Education, and Lynne Hilton Wilson, a candidate in theology at Marquette University. The conference will also feature special instrumental and vocal presentations.
