Byron W. Daynes, a professor in Brigham Young University’s Department of Political Science, recently was appointed a William J. Clinton Distinguished Fellow at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.

As one of two distinguished fellows named each year, Daynes will spend fall semester in Little Rock, Ark. While at the University of Arkansas, he will assist the Clinton School in strengthening its university, community and visitor relations.

Daynes will also work on a project examining Bill Clinton’s role as a global environmentalist. As part of his research, he will interview members of the former President’s staff and administration.
