BYU plans Brass Chamber Night March 17

The Brigham Young University School of Music Presents Brass Chamber Night, Wednesday, March 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

The performance is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Directed by Daniel Bachelder, the program will feature student brass quintets and a brass trio performing music by Malcolm Arnold, Eric Ewazen, Johannes Brahms, William Byrd, George Gershwin and Ludwig Maurer.

Participating musicians include Robert Davis on horn; Emily Price on violin; Brandon Matthews on piano; Nathan Galloway on trumpet; Jason Bergman on trumpet; Mariah Stringer on horn; Alisha Ard on trombone; Joseph Jensen on tuba; Seretta Hart on trumpet; Josh Paul on trumpet; Michael Simmons on horn; Joe Hansen on trombone; and John-David McElderry on bass trombone.
