BYU Philharmonic to perform Beethoven, Strauss, Brahms Nov. 18

The Brigham Young University Philharmonic Orchestra with Kory Katseanes conducting will perform Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Tickets are $9 and $3 off with student ID. For tickets, call the Fine Arts Ticket Office at (801) 378-4322 or visit http://performances.byu.edu.

The concert will feature the Leonore Overture No. 3 by Ludwig van Beethoven, "Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks" by Richard Strauss and the Symphony No. 1 in C minor by Johannes Brahms.

The 98-member orchestra performs 10 to 14 concerts annually and tours every other year. They will be traveling to northern Nevada and California in January and head for Reno in February for the national ASTA convention.

He has particular expertise in the planning, design, construction and operation of public water systems. That expertise has been increasingly important (and regularly sought out) in the wake of apocalyptic wildfires that have taxed those public water systems.
