BYU organ recital feature five soloists Oct. 23

Brigham Young University's School of Music presents an organ recital featuring five students of faculty member Douglas E. Bush on Friday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

Admission is free and open to the public.

"The program presents music spanning the period from the 16th century to the present and embracing many different musical styles," Bush said.

The program includes pieces from composers Joseph Rheinberger, Max Reger, Johannes Brahms, Johann Sebastian Bach, David German, Egil Hovland, Olivier Messiaen and Joe Hisaishi.

Students participating in the concert are Sam Rojas, a sophomore from Mexico; Holly Little, a junior from Utah; Shinji Inagi, a sophomore from Japan; Emily Spencer, a graduate student from Utah; and Joshua Smith, a junior from Nevada.
