BYU-Idaho president Kim B. Clark featured at Sept. 29 BYU devotional

Elder Kim B. Clark, BYU-Idaho president and an Area Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak at a Brigham Young University campus devotional Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

The devotional will be broadcast live on the BYU Broadcasting channels. Visit byub.org/devotionals or speeches.byu.edu for rebroadcast and archive information.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Elder Clark became the 15th president of BYU-Idaho in August 2005. In April 2007, he was ordained a member of the Fifth Quorum of the Seventy of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Prior to these positions, in 1978 Elder Clark became a member of the faculty at the Harvard Business School and served as the dean of the school from 1995 until he became president of BYU-Idaho.

Elder Clark earned bachelor’s, master's and doctoral degrees in economics from Harvard University. He served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ in Germany.
