BYU Human Resource Services lists staff changes

BYU Human Resource Services has announced several organizational changes:

Matt Smith, Human Resource Development director, is now presiding over the Tahiti Papeete Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Anna Wight replaced him as director.

Don Brown, Employment Services director, retired June 1 after 39 years of service. John Young continues as the manager of Administrative and Staff Employment Services.

Nancy Hatch, manager of Student Employment Services for the past seven years, will be leaving the university this fall. Collette Blackwelder from the Center for Teaching and Learning has been selected to replace Nancy.

Berrey Parker, Benefits Services director, retired Sept. 1 following 40 years of service. Doug Lee is the new Benefits Services director.

Peg Schmidt, Compensation director, has transferred to Benefits Services as the Retirement Specialist. David Tueller replaced her as director.

Delora Bertelsen, managing director of Employee Relations and Equal Employment Opportunity, will retire Oct. 1 after 35 years of service. Scott Elkins will replace Delora.
