BYU hosts free Technology Showcase Oct. 4

The Brigham Young University Technology Transfer Office will host a Technology Showcase Friday, Oct. 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Varsity Theater.

The community is welcome to attend and admission is free.

The keynote speaker is Todd Titensor, CEO of Precerus, and he will speak on “Opportunities and Challenges of Commercializing University-Developed Technologies.” Precerus successfully commercialized a BYU technology and manufactured small unmanned aircraft systems. The company was recently acquired by Lockheed Martin.

The showcase will also present the seven best technologies for the office, including an object recognition technology developed by D.J. Lee and a brainwave diagnostics technology developed by Bruce Brown.
