BYU hosts Fall Golf Clinic for women Sept. 8-9

The BYU Women's Fall Golf Clinic will be conducted Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Thanksgiving Point Golf Course.

The $195 fee (a portion of which is tax deductible) will cover six hours of instruction, two lunches and two hours of on-course instruction.

Participants' daughters and granddaughters ages 8-13 can participate in a junior clinic on Sept. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. for $5 per girl.

Come support BYU women's golf and promote girls' and women's golf in Utah as well as receive expert instruction from the BYU team and head coach Sue Nyhus and assistant coach Dave DeSantis.

Green-thumb dynasty: BYU landscaping wins fifth national championship in six years

For the fifth time in six years, BYU students dug, pruned and planted their way to the National Collegiate Landscaping Competition title, the March Madness of college landscaping teams. BYU bested 50 other universities in the four-day event, outscoring the second-place finisher by more than 358 points and breaking the 5000-point total for the first time in the 48-year history of the tournament.
