BYU Homecoming Opening Ceremonies Oct. 8 to include Studio C

Brigham Young University's annual Homecoming Opening Ceremonies, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center, typically offer generous doses of inspiration and entertainment. This year should provide all that and more, because a popular brand of comedy has been added to the mix.

In addition to the rousing sounds of the Cougar Marching Band, a moving tribute to the 2013 Founder, George H. Brimhall and the talent showcase provided by Young Ambassadors, don’t be surprised if the campus comedy troupe Studio C makes an appearance.

The popular — and clean — comedy show will begin its third season this month on BYUtv and features the talents of Whitney Call, Mallory Everton, Jason Gray and Matt Meese, among others.

The addition of their talents should make for an unforgettable beginning to celebrating Homecoming 2013, "A Season for Courage."
