On Monday, Nov. 28 and Monday, Dec. 5, the Education in Zion Gallery at Brigham Young University's Joseph F. Smith Building will host “Christmas in Nauvoo” from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
There will be carols, stories and other historical Nauvoo activities. The program will be offered every half hour, with refreshments provided afterward. Admission is free.
The Education in Zion exhibit opened in fall 2008 and is now under the direction of the Harold B. Lee Library. The exhibit includes inspiring stories of the educational history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shared through film, artwork, photographs and letters. They are thoughtfully displayed in the open gallery space, with several conversation areas that offer visitors a stunning view of the Wasatch Mountains.
