BYU, Faith Centered Music Association plan seminar March 27

The Faith Centered Music Association and the Brigham Young University School of Music's Media Music Division announce a joint seminar Saturday, March 27, at the Maeser Building auditorium on the southwest corner of campus.

"This seminar features a 'who's who' of music in Utah and the Latter-day Saint community," said BYU Media Music Division coordinator Ron Simpson.

Registration for the seminar will be held March 27 from 8 to 9 a.m. BYU students and members of FCMA are particularly encouraged to attend.

The keynote speaker will be K. Newell Dayley, recipient of the association's Career Achievement Award. The seminar will also include panel discussions, presentations and breakout sessions throughout the day. A concert will be held at 7 p.m., followed by an open-mic event running through 10 p.m.

For more information, call Ron Simpson at (801) 422-6395.
