BYU faculty trombonist Will Kimball to present Nov. 16 recital

Brigham Young University's School of Music faculty member Will Kimball will perform a trombone recital Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Kimball will perform pieces from a variety of composers including Ernest Bloch, George Gershwin, Fredrik Högberg, Leopold Mozart and Anthony Plog.

Kimball is an assistant professor of trombone at BYU. He received his master's degree from Duquesne University and his doctor of musical arts from Arizona State University.

He has performed with many orchestras including Cedar Rapids Symphony, New England Philharmonic, Phoenix Symphony and Waterloo-Cedar Falls Symphony.
