The BYU School of Music presents the BYU Cougar Marching Band concert on Tuesday, Nov. 3 in the de Jong Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $6 and can be purchased in person at the BYU Ticket Office in the Harris Fine Arts Center or Marriott Center, by phone at 801-422-2981 or online at byuarts.com.

The BYU Cougar Marching Band includes 175 dedicated brass, percussion and woodwind musicians led by director Fred McInnis. The Cougar Marching Band is well known for captivating audiences with the excitement and pageantry of spectacular performances.

This performance promises to be the loudest concert on campus and will consist of fan favorites and songs from the BYU football season's half time shows,

BYU, Liberty University team up to tackle literacy project

The BYU Education Society and BYU Alumni Association, in conjunction with Liberty University's School of Education, are encouraging fans to bring new or lightly used children's books to the game for donation. Drop-off bins will be conveniently located outside the campus bookstore and the School of Education building, as well as at the BYU alumni tailgate in the Liberty Mountain Conference Center. The books will be collected by the United Way of Central Virginia and distributed to children in need.
