BYU Chamber Orchestra in concert Dec. 10

As part of the School of Music’s “Season of Fifths,” the Brigham Young University Chamber Orchestra will be performing Thursday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Tickets are available through the Fine Arts ticket window or by going online to byuarts.com. The event is also a part of the artsPASS ticket package. Tickets cost $11 or $8 with a student ID.

The Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Kory Katseanes will be presenting Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, “Three Botticelli Pictures” by Respighi and Mozart’s Symphony No. 39.

The Chamber Orchestra regularly tours in the U.S. and Canada and has performed in The People’s Republic of China, Taiwan and throughout Europe. The quality of its players and the diversity of its repertoire has earned it the highest recommendation rating from the National Endowment of the Arts, as well as a recording contract with Pyramid Records of Paris.
