Aspen Santa Fe Ballet at BYU March 26

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, with Tom Mossbrucker and Jean-Philippe Malaty as artistic directors, will perform Saturday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall at Brigham Young University.

Tickets are $15 with $3 off with a BYU or student ID. For tickets, call the Fine Arts Ticket Office at (801) 378-4322 or visit performances.byu.edu.

The company will perform three of its favorite pieces: "Like A Samba" choreographed by Trey McIntyre, "Noir Blanc" choreographed by Moses Pendleton and "Left Unsaid" choreographed by Nicolo Fonte.

Described by Dance Magazine as "a deft ensemble with engaging projection and an appealing largesse," Aspen Santa Fe Ballet is a company of 11 classically trained dancers who perform a repertoire featuring works by some of the world's foremost choreographers.

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet made its New York City debut at The Joyce Theater and was also invited to perform at the legendary Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. In 2004 the company made its international debut in Canada and France.

The Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, formerly known as Aspen Ballet Company, was founded in 1990 by Bebe Schweppe.
