Annual Unforum April 14 to spoof Presidential elections

Brigham Young University’s Student Association will host the annual Unforum themed “Cosmo for President” Tuesday, April 14, at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

The Unforum is free and open to the public. It will not be broadcast.

Divine Comedy and Mr. BYU will host a variety show highlighting the academic year, including the Presidential elections.

“Most students felt that the Presidential campaign was the greatest highlight this year,” said Tamara Gray, student leadership coordinator. “So, the Unforum is a parody of the whole campaign process.”

The show will include guest appearances and performances by the Men’s Chorus, Young Ambassadors, the Cougarettes and President Cecil O. Samuelson. A video presentation will recognize awards to outstanding faculty and students, including five Brigham Award winners and five Circle of Honor Award winners.

“Students like to attend the Unforum because it’s a good show,” Gray said. “It’s a chance to relax right before finals and enjoy the highlights of BYU.”
