Annual BYU Gerontology Conference March 8 at Conference Center

Brigham Young University will host the 20th annual Russell B. Clark Gerontology Health Conference Monday, March 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the BYU Conference Center. This year’s theme is “Generations Working Together.”

The event is free and open to the public, and plenty of free parking is available adjacent to the Conference Center.

The conference will begin with an opening address by BYU President Cecil O. Samuelson. The keynote speaker will be Val J. Lowe, professor of radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He will be speaking on “Brain Imagining in Early Neurodegenerative Diseases.”

Other presenters will include Kari Berit, Bonnie Wallace, Tom Finucane and Robin McKenzie, who are doctors, professors or instructors who are experts in their fields. A lunch will be available at the conference and is free to those who attend.
