22nd annual OPAC conference to be March 12-14

The Brigham Young University Office Professionals Advisory Committee and Human Resources Services will host the 22nd Annual Office Professionals Conference Wednesday through Friday, March 12-14, in the Wilkinson Student Center.

Participants may register and see a full schedule online at opac.byu.edu until Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. After registration closes there will be no exceptions for lunch attendance or for the conference tours.

This year’s theme is “What e’re thou art—Act well they part,” from William Shaespeare. The sub-theme for Wednesday, March 12 is “Our Part Matters Because We Matter,” including an address by Brad Wilcox. The sub-theme for Thursday, March 13 is “To Everything There is a Season,” including a performance from BYU’s Living Legends. The sub-theme for Friday, March 14 is “For Such a Time as This,” including an address from Brian K. Evans.

The OPAC Conference is held each year during the month of March. The conference consists of various classes, brown bag luncheons, entertainment, and a closing luncheon. Presenters from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds are invited to share messages that relate to OPAC’s annual theme and that further the professional and personal growth of office professionals in the BYU community.

BYU office professionals are invited to attend all conference sessions that fit their schedule and interests, with their supervisor’s approval. The mission of OPAC is to promote excellence by providing opportunities for networking, recognition, and exchange of ideas and to encourage individual and professional growth. OPAC advises the assistant administrative vice president for Human Resource Services. The committee strives to promote excellence by providing opportunities for networking, recognition and exchange of ideas.
