Hailed as one of the 10 Best Broadway shows of 2015, “Single Wide” is coming home to BYU for its debut as a fully-staged production.
A moving story portraying a family’s plight with pride, forgiveness and humility will be depicted in “The Mill on the Floss,” opening Nov. 3.
After five years of work BYU has obtained the rights for the production. In preparation for the performance, seats were removed from the Pardoe Theatre to make room for a track that will run through the audience.
The BYU Department of Theatre and Media Arts presents The Crucible by Arthur Miller. Performances will begin Mar. 24 at 7:30 p.m. and run through Apr. 8 in the Margetts Theatre of the Harris Fine Arts Center at BYU.
This production won the 1953 Tony Award for Best Play and is regarded as a central work in the canon of American drama. The play premiered on Broadway Jan. 22, 1953.
