BYU Devotional: The modern mighty women of Israel
Brother M. Joseph Brough, Second Counselor in the Young Men General Presidency, delivered Tuesday’s BYU Devotional address. He spoke about the influence of women as teachers and as examples of discipleship and strength.
BYU Devotional: As I have loved you
Jason Carroll, professor of marriage and family studies, delivered Tuesday’s BYU Devotional address. He spoke about emulating the Savior’s example of agency-based love in dating and marriage relationships.
BYU Forum: Glimpses of the future of learning
Dr. Sugata Mitra, professor of Educational Technology at Newcastle University, delivered the BYU Forum address on Tuesday. He spoke about his technology research and his vision for technology-integrated education in the future.
BYU Devotional: Prophetic invitations and promised blessings
Elder Randall K. Bennett, a General Authority Seventy, delivered Tuesday’s BYU Devotional address. He shared recent teachings of President Russell M. Nelson and taught about the promised blessings that come when saints follow guidance from the Lord’s prophets.
BYU Devotional: Enter to learn; Go forth to fight
Elder Carlos A. Godoy, a General Authority Seventy for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, delivered Tuesday’s BYU Devotional address. He gave a new spin on BYU’s motto “Enter to learn; go forth to serve,” by talking about education and fighting against Satan.
BYU Forum: Seek help and show compassion
Dr. Kay Jamison, clinical psychologist mental health advocate, delivered the BYU Forum address on Tuesday. Dr. Jamison shared personal experiences with mental illness and discussed the relationship between students and mood disorders like depression and bipolar disorder.
BYU Devotional: If you don't like it, change it
Carrie Roberts, head coach of the BYU women’s golf team, delivered Tuesday’s Devotional. She spoke about agency and becoming a champion through making choices.
