Career Placement Services hosts Career Fair Oct. 1

More than 150 employers expected to attend

Career Placement Services will host more than 150 employers during the Fall 2008 Internship and Career Fair Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom at Brigham Young University.

Students of all academic disciplines are encouraged to attend, dressed in professional attire, and should bring several copies of a current resume.

Before coming to the fair, students should visit careerfair.byu.edu to see which companies interest them, said Patricia Whiting, assistant adviser with Career Placement Services.

“At the fair, simply introduce yourself and explain what area of the company you’d be interested in working for,” said Whiting, who noted that employers will recognize “when you have done your homework.”

For more information, contact Michaela Russell at (801) 422-3752 or visit careerfair.byu.edu.
