BYU to host Fall 2007 Career and Internship Fair Oct. 3

On Wednesday, Oct. 3, thousands of Brigham Young University students and alumni will meet with nearly 170 potential employers at the Fall 2007 Career and Internship Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom, Garden Court and East Lounge.

Students of all academic disciplines are encouraged to bring current resumes and dress in a professional manner. Because the event caters to students interested in internships and careers, many employers will offer summer work experience as well as full-time positions.

According to fair organizers, the fall 2007 fair will host “top-tier” employers from business, financial, sales, retail, engineering, technical, government, nonprofit, and many other sectors. The fair is so popular that employer registration is already full.

“BYU is well-known for student career fair response,” said David Waddell, fair vice-chairman. “Every year we have employers delighted by the numbers of students that they meet. And they rave about the quality of applicants they meet here as well.”
